THE SEA'S IN MY VEINS

My one constant is being a lover of the Ocean.

I grew up a Navy Brat and lived by the ocean most of my childhood years and much of my adult life.  So, as Jimmy Buffett would say…”The sea’s in my veins.” 

The ocean gives me perspective of my smallness in the scheme of life.

It gives me a sense of consistency, because it is always there, always the same, yet always different at every sunrise.

It gives me my rhythm as I adapt myself to the sound of one wave coming in right after the other.

It gives me a sense of oneness with God and with nature, as I stand before it on a stormy day, having all my senses awakened.

Most of all, it simply gives me a feeling of

deep soul connection,

deep soul peace,

and a deep sense of being home.
